What It's like Starting out on 2b2t

Youtube decided to give this video a ton of views so just wanted to clear some stuff up:
1. The "swastika" I mentioned at 4:42 is actually the vortex coalition symbol
2. I could have escaped the nether portal by using freecam
3. Wurst is absolute garbage and I'm not sure why I used it, I will use impact from now on
This is one of my oldest videos, and I have no idea why youtube decided it would be a good idea to recommend it to everyone, the algorithm works in strange ways.
As a new YouTuber this video getting this many views means a ton to me, so thanks for clicking on it!

Misconception with obsidian, you can actually break obsidian with your bare hands but it takes like 4 minutes. In your situation you probably should have broken the block

I found that most of the Nether portals dropped me off in inhospitable places with no roads, so just ended up going in the overworld instead. Eventually I found an interesting side path and went along it, seeing a lot of abandoned but not useful structures on the side of the road. As I went on it became more and more well-kept, and eventually I stumpled upon a fully functioning lemon farm, harvested some lemons, then replanted some! I kept going, and after only a couple more kilometers, I even found someplace with (mostly partially harvested) trees. I'm still not done going along this route, but so far, I think it has been a better experience than trying to go through the Nether. The server was a lot more hospitable than I expected, without using hacks too.
After only a couple of hours, the server restarted, which is a shame, because it took me a lot longer than that to get in in the first place.
