(Just Like) Starting Over- John Lennon's Memorial at Strawberry Fields,NYC. 12/08/2022

I broke my elbow at 6years old. The break was in my elbow and i had to have a pin inserted to have the bones heal correctly. I were petrified being left in the hospital for a week surrounded by very sick adults in my ward. My mother left me a transistor radio as there was no television. I woke from my operation and the first thing i did was turn on the radio. John Lennon's Imagine had just been released and the radio station it was tuned to were playing most of the songs. I felt a bond to those songs that have stuck 47 years on. I still get a memory recall every time i hear songs from that album. Its great how music ties you to a moment, memory, emotion ect.
