It’s been 10 years since I’ve had a horse, I’m always amazed at the work that’s done by the farrier.

As a kid cleaning horses’ feet, I was always taught not to touch the frog with the hoof pick, because it was sensitive. How to you know how deep to carve without hurting the horse?

farriers are such skilled people being able to be focused on getting the job done and being careful of the horse, not to hurt it. wow

While i dont find horse trimming as interesting as bovine trimming, you do your videos really well and they are how i like my videos. Just ambient sounds of the job.

hoof trimming is always cool to watch, though i always find the end part just a bit scary haha, with the steam (does anyone know what that does? maybe make the hoof easy to put nails in?) and putting the nails in the new horseshoe.
