Not exactly something new to me as I get to see this almost every week at our stable, but it's never as aesthetically pleasing as this. No talking, just sounds, i love these videos so much, calms me down like nothing else. And always such well behaved horses, i love it!

I love the way you flip your paring knives. Makes everything look so clean and smooth. Also, your horseshoes look so beautiful once they're done! Nice work.

The smoke from the shoe being pressed on the hoof when hot makes me feel like I’m watching Stars In Their Eyes. Tonight Matthew, I’m going to be a horse.

Beautiful work! I know this may seem like a frivolous request, but could you let us know the name of the horse you're working on? You could just include it in the video title, like "Horse Hoof Restoration! (Blackie)" If it's not too much trouble...!

The shoe is much bigger and you trim the frog right back. I assume it evens the load out and stops the frog from stone bruising. Love watching your work.

In your whole part of being a Farrier, have you ever made a hoof bleed, by cutting to short?

Why do you press the the horseshoe while it’s still hot on the horse, is it to sort of locate where you want to place it ?

Idk if you just sharpened your tools or that horse’s hoof was just super easy to scrape but that was so good!!

It’s soooo quiet. Do you ever forget for a split second you have an actual horse behind you. Lol! Weird question I know.

You’re doing an incredibly fantastic job. Hats off for that.
Have you ever accidentally cut yourself on your tools? Because pardon my French, they look hella sharp to me.
And also, why do you sometimes hammer beside the horseshoe before directly hammering on the horseshoe?
Just a bit curious :)
