Bitcoin isn’t a currency but it’s not a scam. Bit coin is a commodity like gold silver platinum etc… Just like gold is price off of the dollar. It’s a virtual commodity. And just like other commodities although not currencies they can be swapped for something of value. Companies and other things can be purchased with stock swaps or trading things other than cash.

Fun fact: Warren Buffet said he is against Bitcoin when it was around $9000 and now it's about $63.5K that means it's more than 600% increase in price. Do remember Warren buffet didn't become rich by investing in Tech. He mentioned tech isn't his field so what makes you think he is right about Bitcoin?
