This is such bs. on buffet. He should spend 100 hours studying the principes and philosofy of buffets way of investing before having an oppinion.
1. Preference for investing in producing assets, so businesses, not gold, on the long run business will perform better. Not based on the greater fools theory. Bitcoin may be the next gold, that can simply be a reason to stay away.
2. Did he miss tesla, fb etc. Yes sure, but his phylosophy is to not risk loosing money. So only go for the things you are sure on. You dont need to swing at anything, just be sure you'll hit a himerun when you go in big (on apple). Berkshire is not a venture capitalist. If buffet is dead wrong on bitcoin its fine by him. He'll invest in railways ans stuff he understands. Stick to your circle of competence, that would be good advice for anyone. Dont just follow the hype, because something has gone from 1000 to 50.000 in a few years. You might be to late
