You're making a big mistake taking this guy for a fool. Yea he is old and doesn't dig technology but he has plenty of common sense and makes all his investments based on hard facts; plus he is the best at it.
If he says that something will end badly he has some reasons for saying that. And now there's big money on crypto, do you really think he hasn't considered if it's worthwhile.
I'm not saying he is right but his opinion it's worth plenty and he deserve some respect. Snobbing and showing your emotional investment in crypto doesn't do you any good.

Why invest in BTC when it's slow, expensive, can be stollen easy, no backing, no dividends, surrounded by bad actors and so volatile that you can lose 20-60% of all your "investment" in a few hours.
