Bro you can fix it by buffing some polish on it! I have polished semi truck wheels and trailers that were scratched and damaged and just need to sand it down and then buff polish into it again.

Gonna be perfectly honest, theres so many people on YouTube who distroy their play button for YouTube. Think of it like you added you're own style and theme. It doesn't have to be the same like everyone else, it can be unique for any YouTube channel theme (I'm not making sense, its 1:23 am and I'm tired, I'll edit this later with better English (yes English is my very first language and idk any other language, I'm not good at it at all))

Could probably use a buffer like people use to get scratches and swirls out of car paint

I'd say it adds memories and is appropriate, given your niche, but if you'd prefer your original in a more original state, maybe get a small bottle of blue-leaning resin or resin + a bottle of blue alcohol ink and add a few drops until the resin looks glassy, minimize bubbles (lots of vids online, one tip is to pour from higher up in a small ribbon/stream- again, lots of videos), and lay down a millimeter or so of nicely-prepped resin over the scratched bit of reflective surfaces. for the matte, you could try something similar and then use a fine sandpaper to bring it back to an even matte surface, but I could only see noticeable scratches on the reflective bit.
