All these morons in the comments comparison this to gun shots in terms of hearing damage and then talking about research when there's literally research showing that pure bass is less damaging than mids or highs. Sure 160dB of bass isn't exactly good for your hearing but wont immediately cause any noticeable damage either. Meanwhile a gun shot at 160db lasting milliseconds very quickly causes noticeable hearing degradation. How do you people think guys who own audio systems like this are able to converse and hear people talking just like everyone else if bass was actually as damaging as higher frequencies?
