Soak your brushes overnight or longer in safflower oil, and there as good as new. It doesn't damage them at all.

This brought back memories. I remember my first landscape acrylic painting. I had no clue on how to paint bright sunsets.
The sky wasn´t bright green, but it definitely showed up.
I gessoed over it. And the next piece the sky was what I kinda was proud of.
But I messed up the water instead.
But I learned something... At least I hope so.🤪

Thanks for the lesson. I knew about the red but have been resisting changing my original plan thinking there must be some way to make it right. There's really no way though and I don't want to waste a canvas.

Love the video like to also see a mistake that happens to me all the time. Mountains look great screw up the rocks to bright grass looks good mess up the trees. I can't seem to get a whole painting to come together.

Thank you Kevin. Very interesting. A fix I often have to attempt is where my tree leaves become too cluttered and little, if any, sky shows through. Is there an "easy" fix for that beyond just dabbing in spots of sky colour to break up the leaves?

Like when youre layering planes of different depth and as you come closer you get darker but you get too dark too fast

Whe you switch from yellow to the blue after fixing why didn't you get some green?

So you cant fix green you have to change it or wipe off let dry start again?
