Fantastic to see a vet standing up for animal welfare over profit.

As a retired "practicing" veterinarian myself, I will testify to everything that Dr. Jones discloses. Any holistic advice given, to save the client money was frowned upon, if you were an associate in a thriving practice.
Keep up the good work, Dr., there are times the veterinarian is truly necessary, as we all know, but, most small health issues can be treated at home, if you know what to do. The client doesn't care how much you know, but they want to know how much you care. Isn't that why we spent 8 or more years, and thousands of dollars to acquire the "license ". Thanks again for your honesty. A colleague indeed.

My uncle was a vet, he also resigned. He was angry at his practice which was having him perform unnecessary procedures on animals for money. He is very smart and kind and loves animals but was not happy with the way things were being done and no longer wished to practice. Don’t listen to the haters!

I'm an RN and I see functional medicine practitioners for my own health after witnessing the total disconnect in human healthcare. The disconnect being medicating vs. true healing. I refuse to feed my dog 100% processed diet and insecticides and cannot trust anyone who recommends I do so. Im thankful for holistic veterinary treatment and for people like you that stand up for what they believe is right and know to be truly beneficial despite the consequences.

Not just veterinary doctors who are harassed for "alternative" views. Keep up the good work Dr. Jones, the world needs more thinkers, less followers.

Veterinarians, just like human doctors, that try to provide alternative treatment (and therefore deprive the drug companies of money) are always attacked by the "establishment". It takes a better man (vet/doctor) to resign and think of what is best for the patient. Thank you, Dr. Jones!

Dr. Jones, please know that for those few haters there are thousands of us who turn to you in a panic on the daily. When our dogs are sick, and the vet is just not feasible for us...to have you there...you're soothing and knowledgeable and kind spirited. And I hope you are blessed abundantly in every area of your life...thank you dear sir.

What a man among men! I compare you to the founding fathers of America who put their fortunes, even their lives at stake to stand against tyranny. While you may not be putting your life at stake, you certainly are putting years and years of hard work, and a small fortune, at stake for your freedom of speech. And all for the benefit of your fellow man. A true patriot, and a man deserving of our admiration and praise. if just clicking the subscribe button will keep you in business, how can anybody reading about this injustice not do so? Let the clicks be heard loud and clear from the valleys to the highest mountains.

Anyone who stands up to Establishment Medicine whether it's treatment of Animals or Humans is a person of real character. I love your youtube channel.

You might be more in the public eye as a veterinarian but I can think of several DO's and MD's who have also resigned from practice and some who have even surrendered their licenses for the same sins of telling patients how to treat their illness without pharmaceuticals or expensive medical treatments. Thank you. Thank you to all of you who do the right thing and pay the price of doing it.

Just because you became a Vet doesn't mean you gave up your right to think. I commend you for standing by your convictions, and truly caring for your animal patients and their human pocketbooks. Thank you, and I'm very sorry that something you worked so hard for has in some ways been taken away from you. I appreciate your channel and your knowledgeable advice.

OMG if you had been my vet, my first cat probably wouldn't have died at 12 yrs old. Once I knew better, my next cat lived to be 19. Good for you for standing up against the machine. Screw them. I'd go to a vet with morals and compassion but no license, instead of a money grubbing liar with a license who just wants to pad their own pockets, any day.

I go to a vet who is covertly much like Dr. Jones. She does the very same things he does but not in the open because she knows she will be ostracized by the vet association. The big pharmaceuticals are who are behind these and the small vets don’t have the right kind of government clout as they do. My pets actually outlived the number of years they were expected to live because of their holistic care. I’m very grateful for vets like Dr Jones!

Your very courageous Dr. Jones. To leave a profession where you dedicated hours of studying and exams in veterinary school to put that aside to be an honest voice for animals is truly amazing. Thank you for all you do!

Just the fact that there are things you are not allowed to say to be part of a certain profession says everything.
Good on you!

I worked in the pet food industry and for a cat rescue. I can say by-and-large, what vets are taught in veterinary school is to push drugs, surgery, and horrible "prescription food for food related dis-ease.

There were so many times I would have people get off the crappy food or direct them to a dietary change and their cat or dog would not need veterinary care.

In addition, so many vets don't know or have time to ask the proper questions and truly listen for other factors in the home or family life that can also cause poor health.

When another family member, be that human or "beast" leaves the family, often it can create a problem with health or behavior... instead, the vast majority of vets in my area prescribe drugs or food instead of finding out why.

It's sad to think that vets get little to no training in understanding their patient and the family... same can be said about docs for people.

I found this video AFTER trying many of his remedies. I stand by his decision to stop practicing by their rules. Dr Jones' advice and remedies have been a huge blessing to my pets. Veterinary care in my area has gotten out of reach financially for me. I only use it in emergency situations. The only vet left in my area that was reasonable retired. I have not been able to find another that "big business and big pharm" has not swallowed up. It's all about the money.
Thank you Dr. Jones for doing what you do.
