BREAKING: One man dead after daylight shooting in Brampton

One man is dead after a shooting in Brampton on Friday morning, Peel police say.

The incident occurred on Sudeley Lane, near Mississauga and Mayfield roads, at around 8:30 a.m.

Police said one man was found suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene and was subsequently pronounced dead.

I grew up in Brampton in the sixty and seventys . I moved to Belfountain then to Chicago. I was in Brampton a couple of weeks ago and went to the LCBO . I thought i was in the projects in Chicago. At least in Chicago i had a license to carry .

Coldest city I've ever lived in. Nobody gives a hoot about anyone else. Lot of angry faces, crazy dudes blabbering out loud to themselves walking past our home, vengeful drivers with zero courtesy, cars with AK's painted on them, sirens blaring constantly at all hours of the night, murders all the time.
This city has lost it's soul. We are a fractured, factioned up, dumb as rocks caricature of suburbia.

I lived in Ajax in a BEAUTIFUL neighborhood. 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom house. MY HOUSE GOT SHOT UP last year. 14 bullets. 11 in my bedroom window. I'm just a history and English teacher. Cops never found out who did it, despite our neighbours' door cam footage. I now live in a VERY small town, closer to Ottawa.
