Couldn’t help but think of the recent OPP police 911 warning call to residents to shelter in place after one of their own was brutally murdered last week. Why should ordinary people have to cower at home in fear when they could have protected themselves and or other neighbours against these two killers by having legally owned guns in their homes. These personal protective devices could have protected themselves and others against 2 young individuals who cared not as to who they hurt, maimed or murdered and were bent on stealing cars and killing anyone who got in their way. My sincere condolences to the family of the fallen officer, we need these men and women of courage who are willing to step up and protect.
