Quicktips from 2021;
*If you can't find the intensity slider, it's nested in the HDR color palette
*If your lights don't auto-bake, go to light-> scene and find the "generate lighting" button, then just wait until the baking is done

YES! more lightning please, this is litterally the biggest impact on how your game looks like. You can tell when a game is made in Unity just from developers ignoring it, but if they have worked on properly modifying their settings you start asking yourself if it's a Unity game or an Unreal game.

Awesome video! The new Post Processing Stack truly is magical, and you did an amazing job tweaking the values. Keep it up! :)

I really suggest you to make a video on creating lights in 2d world. There are some videos, but not as good as yours :P

This video was so unbelievably helpful, I got frustrated awhile back trying to find information on how to do dark or night scenes and of course Brackey's comes out with an up to date video on it explaining it in a couple of minutes, thanks!

I watch these videos, and never understand anything. But I still watch them because it is so cool watching you hit buttons and making a game seem to just appear!

I watched the scene go from "eh" to "hey that looks good!" slowly over 15 min, then in the last 10 sec it's suddenly AMAZING

As a hobbyist game developer, lightning is one of the most obscure things in the entire process (baking, UVs, post processing etc.). This video really helps with the basics to make a scene look good! I will surely get back here many times.

Been lighting for years and never used emissives because I did not know about importing uv lightmaps. Thanks boss. This is why I came here.

Awesome video!

Do you know if it's possible to re-bake the area light/emissive material when in the game by pressing a button?
Let's say I move objects and lights around and need to see the results during the game. Is that possible to program by pressing a button to recalculate lights?
I'm supposing it's still not possible to use realtime area lights in Unity. Is that right?

Dude, thank you, thank you, thank you. If it wasn't for your tutorials, I would have given up Unity long ago. You truly care, and take the time.
