As someone who is only just a few months from going to college, I am glad that choosing CIS was a great decision. I have been stressing about CS or CIS for quite a while and it had been very difficult to decide. This video along with these comments have been very helpful in choosing which degree to go for.

Very true personal I recently graduated with an Associate in Networking and CYBER Security. I am now pursuing my BS in CS. The good thing is that I have been working since I was in high school, so with the aspect of the experience, I am pretty good on that side. I also got my CEH certificate just 2b weeks ago. My advice is that never see any opportunity as irrelevant because it doesn’t pay you. one more thing is to do a lot of labs and try getting some certifications. I have CCNA and CEH, I am planning on getting my cloud certification in both AWS and Azure to understand how both works. One thing you can never escape as an IT professional is a programming language. have at least one strong one under your belt.

thank you for this man i really appreciate it, i am in cs rn but i am very interested in business side things and not just coding all day, so i may switch to cis, the only worry is that i may want to go into ai or cybersecurity, but yeah hopefully that can still happen also
