"... situation?" Jens knows you so well! And his bottle-modeling was the best :-)

I'm really enjoying your "zero-waste shopping at regular grocery stores" series. I mostly shop at bulk stores, but it's making me take a closer look at what's available in grocery stores where I live (Quebec, Canada).

I like that you are relatable using those plastic packaged ingredients and that you say it cannot be perfect every time. I have a hard time shopping here in Aalborg. If something only comes in plastic packaging then I buy it in bulk so it is still plastic but I like to think that it is better than buying the small ones every week.
I also started making my own pizza and pasta sauce and I freeze them in glass jars. It is actually fun to know that you are eating your handmade food. I also have many allergies so it is a win-win for me.

Nice shopping haul darling. Sweet potatoes looked delicious. Yes we would love to see you shop at other stores. You two are a lovely couple. Love the fireplace.

I love your energy! Your videos always make me smile. Thank-you for showing real life “zero waste”- makes me feel like I’m not “failing” in world that’s just not made for zero waste to be easy!

Plastic can keep food for longer though without getting bugs or stuff in them, like in flour, grains and such. But I guess you could put it in glass containers instead so nevermind :)

I buy in bulk in ethnic food shops whenever possible-e.g sacks of rice too big to find in supermarkets so it saves money too. We have the highest supermarket plastic waste in Europe here in Ireland but I buy as much loose produce as possible in them or in recyclable packaging. Love the Summer house, that's the kind of cottage I'd like to live in full time. Does it have flush toilets? I lived in Sweden many years and loved the old Summer houses there with the utedass :D

I’m vegan but I have a question: I have hens at home and they have eggs and I tend to eat them when I can, is that alright? I feel like it would be a waste to throw them away... thank you! ❤️

Really cool dinner!
One question, do you buy the vegetables in the grocery store, if they aren‘t organic? Do you only buy organic, zero waste, local and sesonal stuff?

Hej, I love these videos, you should try this at a Fotex next. I find that Fotex is the most similar to a North American grocery store.

Do Fakta or Lidl :)
I hate shopping at Netto, I never can find the stuff I need and there are empty cardboard boxes everywhere.

Really interested in that sweet potato - never tried battering them. After you batter, do you fry or bake? did you par-bake the potato first so it was soft? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS! haha <3

How did you cook the sweet potatoes? In the oven or on a pan or fryed?

Your pronunciation of 'potato' annoyed me at first - but now I like it., , , ,
