I have to admit I used to be put off by this scene when I first saw it in 2005.
However when I watched the behind the scenes point of view of it it was actually quite impressive and very entertaining after a good while.
I definitely think Johnny Depp did very well in this one scene.
Especially when veruca says shouldn't he be up there? And Mr Wonka says, “Well I couldn't very well watch the show from up there now, could I little girl?"
