Celeron vs i5: Gaming Performance (for value)

UNFAIR comparison. If you want to be fair with the celeron you should test it with a GTX Titan X and compare it with an i7 6800K while gaming at 4K mega-ultra settings. Then blame the poor little celeron for been slower than the i7.

I think this is unfair because the Celeron is a office CPU and not a gaming CPU, the i5 has 2 virtual cores more than the Celeron. I'm personally a Celeron "Fan" i dont know why but i like the CPU

Why compare games that don't even support the celleron? Thats a bad comparison.

Unfair comparison! No one in their right mind would expect to run games at max. settings with a cheapo cpu. Give the Celeron a chance by putting the game settings to low or medium and see if the little Celeron can run them. And, while you're at it, use a better gpu. Because if money's tight you spend max. $$$ on the gpu and use a low-$$$ cpu as a stopgap.

thanks for the aswner, i had a LG All in one with celeron, my laptop is core i5 didnt knew my portable is faster than my LG desktop, in fact my laptop is samsung and optimized with intel panel

But I play mad Max in celeron (2.16 ghost)and I have 4gb ram with 1gb Intel HD graphics ..it works with like 32 fps to 36 Max and bad 14 fps .you did something wrong

i actually used to have an intel celeron n3050, it was terrible. now that i'm running on a core i5 8400 with a gtx 1050ti it makes a hUGE difference.

2:04 Seriously? You are Picking a Pentium over a i5 That is even worser than the s##t Core Duo I DONT mean Core 2 duo I rather pick a i9 or a i7
I have Crapy Acer that has a Pentium it was the laptop took like 30 minutes to boot up and even basic gaming like minecraft was like pictures that took like forever to switch, And it think you will pick a intel HD graphics over a GeForce GTX and also for ram you will pick 4gb over 8gb/16gb/32gb/64gb/128gb!
