This situation is there to stay .. and will be much bigger with China gobbling up Bhutan putting pressure on our North East..
We can't match China's economic might .. and if you cannot make such economic might you are not likely to translate that to both military and technology.. the threat is much more for missile strikes from China and in Indian Ocean..

reasons for that is created by ourselves.. you can't have such a chaotic country with parliamentary democracy which is practically non functional and expect growth .. there is an India which is anti India within and wishes India harm..
our biggest fault lines are left overs from 1947 .. that's another topic ..

I think Indian should compete building better infrastructure/ environment preservation to the other side and when military industry expires then that area will benefit humanity. The areas provide millions fresh water and food sources from water to downstream. Canada and USA have Rocky Mountains which benefit millions/animals and humans from visiting and freshwater.

Being sensible and diplomatic is the only solution. Bragging, we r not the India we once were in 1947 is pointless. They are not the China they were in 1947 either. Media and people could comment and report diplomatically without intimidating anyone. This will give us peace and sence.
I don't think China is building its military to invade Arunachal. Its likely a deterrent precaution on India when they try their plan with Taiwan.
For China it seems like a golden moment to proceed. US is being pulled busy between Ukraine and Israel. With Russia and Iran waiting to see a weekness in them.
India if not playing carefully, will be pulled in to this chain of wars which will eventually be the 3rd world war.
So people and media be diplomatic and sensible with your comments and report and India can seek peace out of this Gambit
