Construction starts on new cinema for Daventry

Показать описание
Construction work has started at the site of Daventry’s new cinema development.
A giant drill will make more than 260 deep holes into the ground so that long, concrete columns can be installed as foundations for the cinema building.
The Council appointed construction firm Willmott Dixon to carry out the £12.5m transformation of the former library site off North Street, Daventry, into a new four-screen cinema complex, with restaurants, public square and splash fountains.
The development is expected to take around 18 months to complete, with the cinema - operated by Arc Cinema - set to open its doors in spring 2021.
