When the FFXIV Endwalker OST hits HARD

This is literally me before playing Endwalker. But listening to this song after beating the expansion and realizing how the lyrics beautifully describe the story and themes, it's simply on another level.

considering the female voice in most of these songs is canonly supposed to be Hydelan, go back and listen to "Answers" after you beat endwalker.

"On wings of hope you rise up through the night" - again, the ship in Sharlyan, carrying you into the darkest area of the game
"Carrying our song cradled fast within your arms so its chorus might ring for all" - to overcome the song of despair and replace it with your song of hope, thus ending the end of days

At first I was also not very into the song, but it just grows on me as I listen to it more, read more of the lore, play more the side content, the entire song is a masterpiece, in terms of first expression and shocks it’s not as powerfully presented as shadowbringer, but footfalls dwarfs ShB in retrospection, the more you listen to it the harder it hit, the two songs are an insane match of yin and yang.

This song is a masterpiece. i love the theme of never giving up hope through even the most dire of circumstances like the entire universe being fucking destroyed lol. i think alot of people would be in despair over something like that. hence the song being fucking awesome.

The song makes sense to me in the context of the story, but some people literally are incapable of understanding metaphors and can only make literal interpretations. This means that these people are literally like "a song isn't a physical entity and therefore is incapable of dancing and even with that aside gravity would prevent it from dancing on the wind unless it has the means to provide sufficient lift so as to attain flight."
