I really love the battery operated aspect of it which is why I decided to switch from the Nest to the Sensi ST55, but the Wi-Fi keeps dropping off despite that it was never a problem with my Nest and the router is only a few feet away. I’ve had to reconnect it at least twice a day in the last two days since I installed this thermostat. Furthermore, the app does not sometimes reflect what is actually going on at the thermostat itself, for example, it may be cooling, but the app looks like the thermostat is not doing anything and on standby. I hope Sensi somehow improves / updates this and I’d be all set.

Your video was by far the best one out there. For one whole year we were trying to connect to Wi-Fi. We search for Emerson App, not one in sight. The worst part, the previous owner glued the panel to the wall, we couldn’t detached the panel. Once we saw your video, we took a chance and pull the panel box down and took off the glued. Your step-by-step was the best, within 15 min. we were instantly connected to Wi-Fi and setting up the App. Who would have known the App was under Sensi and not Emerson. Much appreciated.

I have this thermostat, can I set it so that if the temperature gets to a certain temperature the heat comes on and if it gets to a certain temperature the air comes on? I currently have to manually switch from heat to cool..

This isn’t installation, it’s app configuration. What people are looking for is a smart thermostat that can work without a C wire, this one is recommended.

I happen to have two complete A/C units, and they are being installed now (4/23/2021). Do I need to wait until they are both installed to program them? ...as opposed to programming them one at a time, as they are installed?

I have this thermostat and it's been working fine until yesterday. The air works but when I switch to heat it says it's heating but the furnace doesn't come on . Any ideas?
