In this video we teach you how to install the Sensi Touch Smart Thermostat. The Sensi Touch is a Wifi Smart Thermostat that allows you to remotely control it with your phone.

The Sensi Touch Wifi Smart Thermostat works on the Sensi App and allows you both control from the phone but it also works with voice control with compatible voice assistants like Alexa, Google Home, and Siri.

The Sensi Touch Smart Thermostat also requires a common wire for installation so it's important to identify if you have a common wire in your existing HVAC wiring.

How To Install Sensi Touch Smart Thermostat:
1. Turn off the power to your existing thermostat and HVAC system.
2. Take a picture of your existing thermostat wiring.
3. Remove the existing thermostat from the wall.
4. Install the Sensi Touch Smart Thermostat.
5. Turn on the power to your HVAC system and Thermostat.
6. Download the Sensi Touch Smart Thermostat App
7. Follow the instructions on the app to set up and install the Sensi Touch Smart Thermostat.

My heat wouldn’t turn on after following the instructions in this video, and in the app to a T.
It was incredibly frustrating until I realized that the company that installed our new furnace flipped the white wire and the brown wire when connecting the wires on the on the furnace.
I’m posting this comment for anyone else that ends up with either the heat or the air not turning on.
Go and check the wire connections wherever the main unit in your house is. Mine is in the attic, and that was the issue. Once I connected the brown wire into the white wire slot, it worked like a charm.
Thank you for your video!

Tip of advice. If you have existing C wire, but must hook it up at your HVAC terminal board. Please note the door has a saftey switch and without the door reinstalled, the system will not turn on 🤦‍♂️

I bought it and I installed it. Does not work with my RUUD heating and cooling. I was able to connect it to my wi-fi and the app communicates with the thermostat but the heating and cooling do not turn on. Called the so called customer support number for SenSi and the only thing you get is recordings, no live customer support. I called RUUD and they could not help me. I called my HVAC installer and of course they want $90 just to walk in the door and then tell me if it will work or not. So I just might return it.

Anyone that can help, I only have four wires instead of five I do not have the yellow one. My AC is not working the heat was. I’m also having problems removing the wires just in case I need to put it in another spot, but I’m not sure what the AC tech did before. It’s hard to remove.
