Aside from Language, Japan has diverse fashion and culture... Like they have VISUAL KEI as a musical genre for goodness sake... Korea... Can sometimes stick to what is trendy and popular... Japan? I preferred it more as they are a GOAT for being a rabbit hole... They appear cute and harmless UNTIL you go deeper... They can present the darkest topics and concepts and make it appear cute and lovely (Notable examples are that trending TikTok song that talks about death appearing as a lonely girl, miss-wanna-d*e, Aishite, I Just Wanna XXXX You and OF COURSE- Rolling Girl and Secrets of Wisteria)... They can be introspective too, like Sway by Soraru, Lost One's Weeping, and Aishite and Habit (XXXHolic's OST, the GOAT for social commentary)... They are artists that are so GOOD that came out of Japan, like Yohio... Korea... They are successful as they play safe. Japan... WHEN they finally open their doors and FINALLY promote internationally... I know they can give Korea a run for their money...

Jpop is often more rock related or hyper cute - fied but usually with a visible personality due to being related to an anime or a defined style band. K-POP in the other hand, although isn't bad for it self, its just super indrustrialized. This mean that keeps the style away of risks and all bands are similar to the other.
