mine has all the symptoms except the water leak.
i did spray wd40 into the area i hear the hissing sound, didnt hear any idle changes. but i really cant see into it to know if i sprayed the exact right area.

I own a v6 and got my oil seals replaced, however they have to take everything off to get to that, didn’t change the pancaked inlet seals in the process and pretty sure it’s all completely lose inside, sounds horrible clunking, hissing, lumpy idle, cutting out, just horrific

My 2.7 3rd gen 4runner is blowing white smoke & has water leaking from the screws that connect the manifold to the engine, (you can litterally see the water drop on 2 screws that connect to the manidfold to the engine & one on the lower manifolf that connects to rhe exhaust pipe ...would i just change the gasket for the manifold or the head gasket as well as many poeple have told me
