Even Catholics who are not in the state of grace i.e. in mortal sin; have not confessed their sins via sacrament of reconciliatiion cannot receive Communion. And if they did, they'd just be adding another sin on top of their unconfessed sins.

I recieved the Eucharist recently, but I didn't feel like i had fully accepted the Truth, I'm desperately sorry and I've always had the best intentions but I don't know what I should do. I do believe now. I pray that I will be forgiven. Please pray for me.

This is why the Catholic Church is God’s only church on earth. God requires total commitment. It’s not for the “all I have to do is accept Jesus into my heart to be my personal savior” lukewarm believers. No. It’s about joining the Body of Christ for life and worshipping in the Lord in the way He asks. Total commitment. It’s beautiful. The wedding example was great. Why share this with people who don’t have that same commitment? Why share what is holy with dogs?(mat 7:6)

I was baptized as a Protestant Baptist years ago. I fully believe and have faith in the Catholic teaching of the Eucharist. It truly is the source and summit of the Christian faith. I’ve been attending Sunday Mass regularly since November 2024. After a few weeks of attending, I was eager to take the Eucharist but something told me not to. Beginning of January, I fully understood the importance and significance of confession. I privately confessed to God alone in my room with a sincere and genuine contrite heart for the sins that have weighed so heavily on me and those who have injured me. I did this solely out of my love and desire to be in union with God again. I do fear God but this wasn’t the motive at all. I asked for his forgiveness and mercy through his son’s sacrifice for the atonement of my sins. The divine mercy Chaplet help me with this. A few weeks go by and something told me not to partake in the Eucharist just yet. Then a few Sundays ago during Mass particularly the liturgy of the Eucharist, I had this overwhelming sense of profound grace, joy, and thankfulness. I haven’t experienced this since my belief and faith in the Son of God and baptism. I ate the body of our Lord Jesus. The bread of life. Was this okay to do?

Can anyone tell me if Pope Francis’ letter to the Americans bishops about immigration is part of the Papal Magesterium?

My understanding is the Orthodox believe in consubstantiation. Why one so called orthodox priest told my friend is that Eucharistic miracles are a punishment of God showing Catholics we are wrong…. Maybe just one guy was way off but after this NOPE. Don’t mean it uncharitably but there is a lot of difference.

This highlights the paucity of Catholic theology! Jesus gave his life once, for all! The last supper was instituted at the end of a Passover celebration. It is essentially like the Passover, a time of remberance. The bread and wine represent his body and blood but they are obviously NOT his body and blood.

I also have news for you which many Catholics will find new! The Passover was not meant to exclude other people, often referred to as aliens! As long as people were circumcised they could participate. Strangers and slaves were treated equally.

Neither is the bread and wine transformed into the actual blood and body of Christ. Christ was sacrificed once for all! Needless to say, communion has been radically misinterpreted by the established churches to the extent that it's true meaning is all but lost! Early Christians broke bread frequently when they met together. It was a way of remembering what had led to their salvation, not a continuing means of salvation!

We are saved by God’s Grace alone through faith in the Finished works Christ alone for the glory of God alone! The Gospel was Finished and Completed by Jesus Christ!

“When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished, ” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”
‭‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭30‬ ‭

The Gospel is the Good News of what Works Jesus Christ completed for our behalf to Earn our Salvation before the Father to those that Believe in Him!

There is Nothing for Us to Do in the Gospel! Jesus Christ is the Only One To Do The Gospel!

Our Response is Only To Believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

“Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭30‬-‭31‬ ‭

What is the point of integration with a Church system which hasn't got a clue about the truth taught in the Bible. The whole point of communion is a person who is part of the family of God, whose sins are forgiven and cleansed through the precious shed blood of Christ, and is a member of the Body of Christ, these individuals take the bread and wine in remembrance of the Person who died for them. It is a feast of love. The word remembrance means an affectionate calling of a person to mind. It has absolutely nothing to do with the portion of scripture in John's gospel which talks about except ye eat the flesh and drink the blood of Christ you have no life in you. The Lord Jesus in Matthew, Mark and Luke is asking them to remember Him after He is gone back to Heaven. In 1 Corinthians ch. 11, the apostle Paul tells us that the Lord Jesus told him that as often as ye eat the bread and drink the cup ye do show or proclaim the Lord's death until He come. It is clearly a testimony of an individuals faith in Christ and NOT a means of coming to faith or salvation as taught by Popery.
