Hyper-V 2019 nested virtualization.

This is a step by step guide to enable nested virtualization on Hyper-V 2019. When you tried to enable the Hyper-V role in Hyper-V virtual machine you will encounter this error "Hyper-V cannot be installed. The Processor does not have required virtualization capabilities".
Nested virtualization allows users to run Hyper-V inside of a Hyper-V virtual machine (VM). The nested virtualization is supported by the Intel processor only.
Run the below command to enable nested virtualization in Hyper-V
Set-VMProcessor -VMName "VMName" -ExposeVirtualizationExtensions $true

Hi, I have the same problem that says "Hyper-V cannot be installed. The Processor does not have required virtualization capabilities", but when I try your followed step like typing "Get-VM", it just print out

"This may indicate that the Hyper
-V Platform is not installed on the computer or that the version of the Hyper-V Platform is incompatible with these management tools."


but install hyper-V is the first reason that I came to watch this video. right? so I'm bit confused.

does it work within an apple m1?... I am trying to do, cause i need docker&azure&visualbasic work together..but docker does not work because the virtualization in the bios can not start. Any suggestion or tips. From Argentina

from where did you open the command interface I am not able to open the command interface please help me

this only work on Intel CPU, for AMD currently its only supported on Dev channel of Windows 10

this worked, but would you believe i had to change my server name to windows2016 instead of windows 2016. It didnt like the gap, has to be one word name.

If this is how you teach your students then I think it's quite bad because you're too quick especially at the critical parts when you typed to launch the cmd and the PowerShell.
