Profit, revenue, income, assets, cash flow -- all these words mean money, but they all have specific uses. In business, money is important to us and we want to describe it as accurately as possible.

Boo stores have really slim margins. The large book store chains make much of their profits from the extra stuff. Not the books but the games, accessories, pillows, blankets or the attached coffee shop.

This is very helpful considering I want to become a successful Anime YouTuber and love business = freedom . Very helpful information plus it's sponsored by YouTube itself. These type of things are never taught in school so I salute you Crash Course and John and Hank Green!

There was something that was written that is 100% in wrong as far as where to fall in the sequence.
You should always consider your operating cost and business expenses before considering what other companies rates are. They may or may not be actually making a profit and attempting to compete with a business that isn't going to stay in business is not a very good decision.
Ellen Roars "How much should I charge" is an excellent reference book for this

The fact that they didn't call this Cash Course saddens me a little.

Profit is revenues minus costs and expenses. Costs and expenses are distinct.

You mentioned advertising and left out data mining.

You all do an amazing job, one small lighting criticism. Bring the lights closer together and or closer to your subject. The double shadow causing the black diamond shadow on her chest once noticed is distracting as it moves around parallax to her. Other than that little oversight, I love you guys and the work you do, should you ever need someone for any related services, dm me. This is not my main act btw.

Nothing says empowerment like psychological manipulation to make empowered people buy stuff.

instead of entrepreneurship, are there youtube based jobs. like i want the youtube flexibility of work hours and better work life balance. but i want an employer to sort out the bigger costs like overhead. no one talks about that.

i want a stable job not the headaches of uncertainty in sales and commission.
