In this video we set up Larix Broadcaster on Android and Larix Screencaster on iPhone to push SRT streams into OBS Studio in the same local network. We then combine them into a single scene for further streaming into services like Twitch.
Twitch setup description is not included, we just show mobile and OBS setup for SRT transmission.

Get Larix Broadcaster:

Try Larix Tuner!
Larix Tuner is a remote control web service that provides management feature set for Larix Broadcaster mobile streaming app.

Worked for me. If anyone has issues make sure your phone is connected to your own network (not cellular) and used your own system's info and not copying exactly what he has. You may also need to set a static IP in your router for your computer so you don't have to worry about it changing. If you are using it outside your network you'll likely have to port forward and I haven't tested if that works.

I did everything that you did and my phone is not showing up on OBS, it says that it stopped due to: Could not connect to server. Everything is done correctly as you showed in the video. Is there any discord server or customer support that i can get in contact with so someone can help me set it up?

Could not get it to work, I get "ConnName: Can't connect to server. Retrying in 3 sec." in the Larix Broadcaster app. Most things are as in the video:
- OBS active port shows in netstat, on cmd.
- The QR link didn't open to Larix Broadcaster automatically in my Pixel phone. Instead, in Larix Broadcaster app, used the option Settings > Larix Grove > Scan QR code, to scan the QR from Larix Grove website (as in 1:42) and create a new connection.

I also tried to add "&transtype=live" to the Input link in OBS, as suggested in the comments.

Notes: I'm using a Pixel 4 (Larix Broadcaster v 1.3.5 build 339) to connect to OBS (version 29.1.3) on Win 10. Both devices are connected through WiFi to the same router.

Hey! I'm trying something similar but on a Mac - I'm using a Logitech Mevo camera that does SRT. I have it enabled with the URL for OBS but can't get it to work. On your PC you had to dded to port within PC on command prompt. Is there something similar to make that work on a Mac?

I did the recommended steps on my Windows PC and it worked great. But now I'm trying on my Mac on port but doesn't work. Would anyone know how to open up this port on the Mac? I've googled for commands to do this but haven't gotten anywhere on this. I've added OBS on the Firewall to accept incoming connections.

Is there a way to do this with a GoPro? Sorry for asking if this is already answered or in another video

I checked OBS port like in your video. Sadly it not the same IP and also not the same PID on Taskmanager in OBS. How can i fix that?

Screencaster doesn’t work as an SRT stream provider on an iPad Pro. Broadcaster works perfectly, but not Screencaster. Using same settings as broadcaster, which works perfectly, Screencaster will not connect, and when it does, only stays connected for a few seconds. We’re connecting to vMix with both apps. Any advice?

Hi, i just tested your tutorial (after failing manually configuring the stream from my android phone to my OBS on the same local network) and the results are the same.

The message in Larix Screencaster 1.0.30(35) is "srt android: Unknown connection failure".
OBS 26.0.2 on the computer is listening on the specified port as per netstat output and the windows 10 firewall is "allowed/opened" for both private and public networks and obs executable.

I also thought to try simple udp streaming to check network connectivity but larix doesnt seem to allow it.

Any idea ?

(the phone should be recent enough, its a Xiaomi Redmi 6A, Android 8.1.0, kernel 4.9.77+, both PC and phone are on the same /24 network ...)
