What made the show was the bond between Sam and Al. It is the same as Michael and KITT. Bring that and you have a winning show. People want the warm beats.

I’m calling it now. NBC is playing coy about this revival series. I like to believe Scott Bakula will return as Sam either midseason or in the season finale. He can serve as mentor figure/guide for Raymond Lee’s character, and main protagonist, Dr. Ben Seong. At least, that’s my optimistic and hopeful outlook on it. Which is something the original series instilled in me growing up. Oh, boy… Fingers crossed. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Without Scott and Dean I don't think they'll be able to recreate their chemistry but I'll watch it and maybe along the way they'll find Sam and he can go home

I was hoping they were gonna keep the same electric blue leaping effect from the 90's. It was quite impressive and I reckon it stood the test of time perfectly, there was no real need to modernize it.

It says Sam Beckett never returned home, not Sam Beckett never made it home. There will probably be a scene where he catches up with Sam and have a discussion about why he continues to leap despite having the ability to go home.

I hope he quantum leaps back to when they thought about rebooting this and turning it into a watered down version of the original was a good idea and he swiftly kicks them all in the head so they wake up again.

This is so fucking stupid, its been confirmed they won't bring sam back even tho the show left off on a cliffhanger and he never made it back home, I want to see that moment, I want closure for the main character, I already know this will be bad
