The fact they payed homage to Al at the end of the new episode I thought was a beautiful ending, they have made a great effort not to fuck around with this to much and it works wonders as a fan from the original I'm just hoping they bring back Sam that would do all the original cast right by the new crew

I think the creators completely missed the boat on this one. They just slapped the name plate on it and served it up. First episode had no heart, no feeling, didn’t make me want to invest time watching further

Oh, boy! Not decided yet. I am such a huge fan of the original show. It was 1 of my favorites as a kid and still is to this day. It just wouldn’t be the same without Sam & Al. I will say tho, that the reboot does appear to look decent. Might check out the 1st episode and form an actual opinion. Maybe.

Could be Al's daughter. Since the series finale said that Al's life was changed completely and never remarried, had four daughters.

I wish when the hologram comes, they'd do the white door again. Instead of her just appearing off the side of the screen.

C'mon people, give it a chance, Dean died and Scott is prob too tired to be in ANOTHER show. New blood, and it doesn't look as cringe as the magnum reboot. I think it has potential.

The originial Quantum Leap seemed to have had far more depth to it... rather than racing through cliche action scenes into things... and assuming it's quality.

Yeah, without Sam and Al it doesn't feel right in anyway. I'll pass on watching this thing (at least until god willing Scott Bakula either makes a big cameo or joins it full time) and just keep enjoying the Quantum Leap I grew up with.

At least the character is not named Sam Beckett, but a completely new character. I was afraid they would use the same name and maybe make "Al" be short for Allison or something. Knowing this, I am going to give it a try.

I want to reserve judgement, but I'm disappointed in the romantic relationship between
Ben and Addison. I liked the buddy friendship of Sam and Al. But Quantum Leap fans need to give it a chance.
