"Midnight Confessions" keeps eluding your ears and it's arguably their best song.

Temptation Eyes, Sooner or Later, Let's Live for Today, Midnight Confessions and more. Great band

They keep calling them a 70's band but they're really a 60's (late 60's) band.

Midnight Confessions by the Grass Roots, that's the one you have to hear next!

Thank you. A favorite band and a favorite song. Check their song "Midnight Confession". BB! Hands down! Faith No More would also pick BB KING! Naturally.

To my knowledge, the Grass Roots were a predominantly late 60s band. Saw them in1987 on a bill with the Monkees, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap and Herman's Hermits. Great show!

This 60's San Fran garage band did something no one else has done, not Elvis, Beatles, Stones..NO ONE! they were on the charts for 252 consecutive weeks. This is a very deep rabbit hole, Bella Linda, Live for Today, Midnight Confessions, A Million Years, Two Divided By Love, Where Were You When I Needed You, Things I should Have Said, Heaven KKnows, baby Hold On, Sooner or Later, Glory Bound. You get the Idea!

This came out in 69. They were formed in 1965 and broke up in 1975. Most of their hits were in the 60's.

"Midnight Confessions" is a must do.

The original lead guitarist for The Grass Roots was Creed Bratton. Many years later he played a quirky character on the sitcom The Office, and the character's name was also Creed Bratton. He got to cut loose on guitar on a couple of episodes.

The Grass Roots are a great American rock band from the 60's-70's. I had some of their records. They had a lot of big hits such as "Let's Live For Today", "Things I Should Have Said", "Midnight Confessions", "Bella Linda", "Lovin' Things", "The River Is Wide", "I'd Wait A Million Years", "Heaven Knows", "Walking Through The Country", "Baby Hold On", "Sooner Or Later", "Two Divided By Love", "Glory Bound", "The Runway" etc.

This was released in 1969 (when I was 11 years old) and can still sing along...weird how music can stay deep in one's brain

They were a top 40 MACHINE!!! I was very fortunate to have seen them live. "Midnight Confessions" is one of their best. Between 1965-75 they charted 21 times in the top 100, and for 10 years, had a presence on the charts. They weren't the brightest star, but one of the longest lasting.

Rob Grill, bass player and lead singer for most of the Grass Roots songs passed in 2011. They were super popular during my high school years. I'd suggest "Let's Live For Today, " if you haven't done it yet.

The musicians playing the instruments in this song are The Wrecking Crew (who play on numerous songs you've reacted to). When are you going to watch The Wrecking Crew Documentary DVD I sent you last year? It'll give you a whole new layer of knowledge about 60s and 70s music.

I know this is supposed to be about the music but after all these years (54!) lead singer Rob Grill still makes me melty. 😍

Im pretty sure the guitarist was a regular on the American Version of The Office TV series decades later

In my Junior year of high school (at South St Paul High, in Mn) our Student Council started a campaign (with the help of all of our Fan Letters) to get the Grass Roots to play at our it worked !!! They came & played in our Auditorium, + even signed autographs (I still have my album cover w/ their signatures on it had a HUGE crush on Rob Grill 🥰❤‍🔥💋

The Grassroots had some of the best produced records in the early 70s. Killer brass and that bass.
