I bought this player. The sound is amazing! You cannot hear the clicks, scratch, crackles, or track cracks of tracl switches. It sounds flawless. As if it were a cd, but with an anolog sound, that is much better.

Hey Jarrett, I just recently got this setup finished within the past year or so. I got the Pro-Ject - Debut Carbon Esprit SB (Black), Klipsch RP-600M Reference Premiere Bookshelf Speakers - Pair (Ebony) on an old Yamaha RX-V371BL 5.1- Channel A/V Receiver. To play everything else I got me a Tascam CD-A580 Rackmount Cassette/CD/USB MP3 Player Recorder Combo. It's actually pretty decent. Probably the most satisfied I've ever been with a setup...for a reasonable price range.

Great vid, thanks! Keep up the good work!

I've been collecting records for a year and a half waiting for the day I found and could actually afford a quality player. I tasked my brother with finding me one for Christmas...aaand he produced a Crossley. I don't know much about turntable specs, but I know enough about their reputation that I didn't dare let it touch my records.

I loved the gorgeous wooden suitcase design, but it wasn't worth it if it could potentially damage my records, so I haven't used it. I've been looking for a good replacement for it that's just as lovely aesthetically pleasing but is of quality.

Just ordered mine!!! I'm not thrilled about the price, but I'll rest assured that I've bought a turntable of quality to learn more about my hobby without risking damaging my records.

I got the AT LP 120 with a set of floor speakers and a basic $20 amp. It isn't much, but it sounds nice.

Turntable: Pioneer DJ PLX-500-K
Active Speaker: Edifier R1280T
I wanted to get LP120, but it was hard to get in my country, Japan. So I got the same time turntable. They are not the best setup, but they sound amazing!

My setup is 2 Technics 1200 MK II's Going through a Gemini Mixer. My Receiver is a Sansui 9090DB going into 2 Cerwin Vegas 3 way speakers. All where purchased originally by me and has been going strong for over 30 yrs. The receiver is from 1978 originally purchased by my parents. Old School and still sounds awesome!

I have a Realistic LAB 390 turntable with Encore cartridge, age: 35 years; A Pioneer VSX.5900S, age: 28 years; two JBL Speakers, can't reach the model, the woofer 16" and each has a Tweeter. Age: 56 years. This set-up sounds BEAUTIFULLY. I have been tempted to change my turntable but every time I play a record, well, I think it is a waste of money. Also several experts have told me DON'T CHANGE ANY OF YOUR COMPONENTS. (Eventually, only the stylus or the cartridge) They just don't make them as they used to, although recent models, like this one you are reviewing seems very nice. But I still prefer direct drive. Your videos, excellent. I never miss them. Greetings from Colombia. EDUARDO

Song of the day: Suzanne by Leonard Cohen, for my turntable i use a pioneer plx-1000, my speakers are b&w 606's and my amp is a yamaha as-801, my cartridge is an ortofon 2m red but it's fine for my needs. Sound great to me, i tried a lot of belt driven turntables but the direct drives just seem to feel more robust and reliable.
