COVERT™ 4-Pin: Which Pin Matches the Tape?

preview_player
Показать описание
COVERT™ moving aperture sights track to a sight tape, allowing shooters to dial-in any range for a precise shot. With a multi-pin moving sight, there are two distinct ways to set it up: Top-pin calibrated and bottom pin calibrated.

"Top-pin calibrated" is the more common, as it gives you the full range of the moving pin system, and lets you use the sight as a mover or standard multi-pin at all distances.

"Bottom-pin calibrated" essentially provides a standard multi-pin sight for closer ranges, and then a precise moving pin sight for longer ranges.

This sight can be used either way, just make sure you align the sight tape and yardage pointer accordingly. The different setup methods just depend on individual hunting and shooting style.

For bottom pin calibrations use the bottom pin at 20 yards mark off 20 30 and 40 and then put the red pin on 40 correct

Is there a diagram how to set this up, I've watched this 10 times and am still really confused... Do you slide the housing up or fully down when you start the calibration.. please send help... I have 2 pins sighted in but how do you work out which tape works from there

Does anyone know if you can put apex gear brand lens kit and sunshade on this model sight? I see threads but just want to know 100% sure
