I would like to point out to everyone... thankfully your body tells you that you're in trouble with PAIN. So yeah, you'll feel severe pain before any of this progresses to anything said here. This means you wont just drop dead one day because of an old cavity. As someone who currently has untreated cavities due to insurance problems, I have to make sure to keep my teeth as clean as possible so the bacteria doesn't spread. Any first signs of pain, I take care of it immediately before it gets worse. I'm not saying you should just clean your teeth like a madman so you don't ever have to go to a dentist, but rather, it is possible to live with them for a while if you have to. So don't freak out guys if you think you have a cavity and cant soon take yourself to a dentist. Take care of yourselves out there dudes!

My MIL works at Urgent Care and one night they brought her a guy in his 50s i think, he wasnt responding, like he was asleep and when they did brain scan they found out his teeth "killed" his brain, machines were keeping him alive, all cause of bad teeth... Infection from tooth got into his brain and killed him...

I did have an abscess tooth a while back, and he pulled it. The whole left side of my face was swollen up. I was waiting for it to go away by itself, but he told me this kind of thing won't. It's fine now and healed.
