Turkish has Arabic words because most of the Turkish people are Muslim.
Turkish has Persian words because Turks conquered Iran and lived together with them for a long time.
Turkish has french words because French was the English of today 100 years ago for Ottoman Empire.
But Turkish contains also alot of Turkic words because it is a Turkic language also.

Turkish also has french and russian words in it. Especially french. Most of the languages has similar words since the cultures getting to know each other in many many years and we came all the way from asia to europe so our culture a bit more complicated and mixed of course. Eh languages effect each other

Turkish is heavily influenced by Arabic, Persian, and French. Arabic is because Turks were nomads for too long and they didn't have much written works. So after they accepted Islam and settled they used Arabic a lot. And Persian because literature revolved around Persian. And French because of at the last year of Ottoman Empire Authors and poets were visiting France pretty frequently and they saw it as some kind of sign of status. So If you are speaking any of these 3 languages, it is likely that you will find pretty common words in Turkish.
P.s. Common words will not help you with Turkish grammar, it is hard.
