He didn’t die in ring. Andre suffered congestive heart failure and passed in his sleep. He was a true legend and an inspiration to old and new wrestlers and wrestling fans. I watched all his old matches with my dad when I was growing up. Him along with the Undertaker made me a wrestling superfan. Andre will forever be missed by everyone across the wrestling world.

We all went through the stage where we couldn't get past the fact that we all just discovered that wrestling was fake. When we got old enough we realised that even though it was Scripted, what they done in the ring was far from fake. I have nothing but unbelievable respect and admiration for these guys, and they deserve nothing less from everyone.

Damn! Hulk Hogan actually lifted up The Giant off the ground. That alone is incredible

For those that weren't born or are too young to remember WWF in the 80s and 90s, I feel for you, it was 10x better than it's today.. every wrestle was a star... you knew everyone that walked out of that hall... it was a time I'll never forget

I always wondered how a match of Big Show vs Andre The Giant would've been.

I still can't believe it…
A power slam and a leg drop were finishing moves back then.

He was the reason why I started to watch wrestling back in the 70's as a young boy. And everytime I saw him in a Wrestling match it made my day complete. The 8th Wonder of The World Andre The Giant

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE MEMORIES

Well I've heard from old sources that Andre the Giant didn't feel good that night and he didn't feel like being in the ring, as I just now found out he had a bad back, and I don't blame the GIANT for wanting to get it over with. But they put on a good show and everybody loved it.

Andre died in one of the most peaceful ways, in his sleep. He didn't suffer a painful death, but he was in alot of pain in his later years.

Am so lucky to be in an era where wrestling during 80s and 90s were the Prime decades.

For those wondering, the title MIGHT be a joke about a very strange lie Hulk Hogan told where he said he slammed Andre (and also added on that Andre weighed over 600 lbs at the time) and claimed he had died DAYS after.

If this was a world where they were both alive and in peak conditions, id still be rooting for Andre
