I thought it wasn't needed till I started developing it a little in workouts, then I used it in games in some situation without even thinking, now I think it's pretty cool having it

For me as a player I feel more comfortable having the option to shoot a floater with either my left or right hand in any situation. But I know if I have space I'll shoot the floater with my left (my dominant hand) 9/10 times.

On that same analytics note: do you think players should practice off either foot as their pivot foot when operating from triple threat from the perimeter? As a lefty, I operate 95% of the time from my right foot pivot in triple threat. Do I need to actually practice my left foot pivot? Obviously when working on mid post face ups you'll work off either your left or right depending on which block you're on. But from the perimeter you can pretty much manipulate the footwork so you're always operating from your preferred pivot foot

I disagree, the opposite should happen... Because as you come closer to the hoop you should be able to finish with both hands (and thus become unpredictable to the defender). The big problem is that instincts take over (and you tend to finish with your strong hand), which is not always optimal if you are going the other way. But it can be fixed if one reps it out and actually try it in games
