A Conversation with Melanie Reinhart

Melanie Reinhart talks about her beginnings in astrology, her experience with clients, the importance of finding our purpose as astrologers, and how this ancient craft can help in an increasingly fragmented world.

Melanie Reinhart is best known for her book 'Chiron and the Healing Journey', and her work on Chiron and the Centaurs Nessus and Pholus. She is a prize-winning diploma holder of the Faculty of Astrological Studies in the UK (Margaret Hone Award 1979), of whom she is also a patron. She was awarded the prestigious Charles Harvey Award in 2004, given by the Astrological Association of Great Britain for 'exceptional service to astrology'. Her work is an unusual combination of intuition and meticulous research.

I seen her on another pod cast about a month ago and fell in love with her story and hung on each word. I subsequently purchased two of her books. Such a fascinating knowledge and insightfulness. I could listen to her for hours. I have 5th house Chiron in Pisces, so have a deep fascination and joy in learning this stuff.

I also saw your conversation about Chariklo, .... hmmm ... which makes me wonder,
if by etymology this could be related to the unseen self, one's so called true 'second half',
the twin-flame within that is guiding us through life itself?
Chariot-Clone ? ... The non-carbon based 'vessel' of self-hood?
the mold for our physical existence intangible to our sight as the earthy human being?
.... kinda like the RNA to our DNA?

On the 15th of Feb. 2027 which is a very important date in Human Design Cosmology,
Chariklo in transit conjuncts her own birth-sun at 26deg. Aquarius!!!! ~ WOW!

I found my Chariklo at 2deg. Pisces Rx, trining my Scorpio Venus 4deg.
conj. my SCO Sun at 6'57deg, while my Ceres is at 6deg. Cancer.
My Chiron Rx is also in Pisces 22deg, yet conj. my Saturn Rx 23deg.

My Asc. is at 18deg. Cancer, so this big stellium now transiting in Capricorn is going on in my 7th house of partnerships while trining my natal Moon at 23deg. Taurus, trining my natal Pluto at 19deg conj. Uranus 22deg, conj. IC 19deg.
I've been through really crazy times in 2019 while nothing feels secure,
at least not yet.
Yes, Astrology truly is something! I've been interested in it since my early teen-ages too,
and was then able to dive deeper since the age of the Internet :-)
