Have you stick in something that made it infect. Don't panic just apply ear drops when you are given meds. Ear drops + antibiotic. About two weeks you will feel relieves as the swollen subsides. Put cotton just to cover the ear lobe only not that ear canal

When you come to the Philippines, find a friend who has guyabano tree, ask for plenty of leaves, boil and drink it as your regular water for at least for 7days. It will surely help deal with the infection, Barbie.. take care.
Btw, it also helps to keep away from anything with sugar...
