The historical chronicles and mythological content in the second half of hte Popol Wuj and colonial documents like the Titulo of Totonicapan the Titulo K'oyoi and the Annals of the Kaqchikels are just as grand as the inscriptions of the classic period.

I recent took a trip to Copan and saw the ruins there. Truly astounding to see the detail and the stonework there, and the town nearby Copan Ruinas is one of my favorites in all of Honduras.
