I get why they did it, and I guess they're not really bothered about me. I just can't see myself swapping my M140i for anything BMW currently make, I can't see me swapping it for anything else, except a slightly newer version of my same car. Like I said, they clearly don't want my business since I bought a manual RWD hatchback.

Know that small stretch of road between Chicksands and Ireland in Bedfordshire. You must have gone up and down it 20 times as it's only half a kilometre long. Great review!

Refer back to the old BMW ads “that’s why we don’t have front wheel drives”, pictures of animals with their large hind legs swapped with their smaller fronts. They ignored their own marketing, hence why they can no longer claim “The Ultimate Driving Machine”- they don’t make one.

It's just disappointing that the "Ultimate Driving Machine" brand has turned a previously killer platform (6-speed, RWD, subtle but aggressive styling) into this...and the TI and M badges are just a mockery of some of the historically significant models BMW has produced in the past.
