I'm sorry but WHY WOULD THEY DELETE THIS?? Tao saying he doesn't want to be alone would've added SO much more to reason why he doesn't want Charlie to be with Nick, because he doesn't want to be abandoned.

Tao & Elle's story is the most compelling of the series. Tara & Darcy are already together. Charlie and Nick are working it out together. The romantic tension between Elle & Tao is intense, unspoken and unresolved. This scene was cut because it's redundant. Tao's fear of being alone and Elle's support for him are already apparent in their movie nights together in Tao's room. The art room scene in the last episode is a masterpiece of unspoken longing between the two where Tao finally begins to get it. Watch what happens between them in Series Two.

I understand why it was deleted, as the conversation started and stopped at the same fact we learn again is episode 5. However, if there was more dialogue added, ("Yeah? Do you want to talk about it more?" "All I know is change is really scary for me for some reason" etc etc) this would've been a fantastic scene to keep within the show

feel like if they included this scene in the show then people would stop calling tao “annoying” and misunderstanding him. this would explicitly show why he was hurt by charlie hanging out with them less to be with nick. he just didnt want to lose charlie too after elle transferred to higgs :(

I know that Tao had abandonment issues, he's afraid of being alone and left or forgotten since everyone has made other friends and live their own lives. Elle was the only person that understood Tao and knew how to comfort him. He didn't explicitly say it but I wish we knew more about him amd the other friend

This nearly made me cry. It's so sweet. And I love that the sparks are purely around Tao, instead of between the two of them. It shows that not only does Elle know in that moment that she loves him, but that in that moment, Tao feels loved.
