This is the kind of leader we badly need in Afrika unlike the fools we have in power today.

I understand. And there's nothing wrong with that. That is not being insensitive. All of Africa and other black nations have absolutely no reason to honor any Europeans nation that includes the US and Australia

That was my king and we bow to no one except our God almighty. Ameh Oboni was a true leader and he made us proud to this day.

They kept that secret all the time. Seen this the first time that the King in Africa refused to bow to the Queen its truly amazing. I am happy for him.

Today as they celebrate the queen, she is being portrayed as this Wonderful and loving person. But we know better. The crowns that sat on her head is filled with the blood of our people. The suffering and hardship inflicted on our people will now pass on to her generations. They will know no peace. Our brothers who were participants in these atrocities will answer for their crimes and sins and so too their generations. The beast have gone to roost.

Thank you for sharing this here. I remember, hearing this story as a child growing up. When i went to the village, i got to learn more about the curses that was made against the Northerner's who conspired against the Attah of Igala in other to make him submissive to the Queen of England. The Attah of Igala, and the Oba, of Benin who had become close refused to submit or bow to the English Queen at that time. The Attah, of Igala after being blackmailed by his enemies working with the Fulani Northerner's and the British, decided it's best he take his own life and keep the Kingship in his lineage. Than allow his enemies dethrone him and his lineage will never hold onto the throne. The exact Fulani King or Emir at that time who was dedicated to remove the Attah of Igala then was the grandfather of Sanusi Lamido who was dethroned recently as Emir of Kano. Same way his own grandfather, was dethroned as Emir from the throne. And all, the diseases and sicknesses the Attah cursed them with is still very much working against them. The Fulani, or core Northerner's were the British eyes and ears at that time. They helped the British, in destroying great empires and blackmailing Kings and Queens, killing them or sending them into exile. And that is because like the British they were also invaders trying to conquer empires. So, they decided to work with the British. Not, all of them but most of them have same mindset! And this is why they try to suppress true history from the public. Thank you "Attah Ameh Oboni" for refusing to bow to the oppressors. You are indeed a true African King. We are proud of your bravery. And true, Igala will be united from all the places they reside. Some, of them now call themselves different names. But, when the unity begins they will see themselves as one.
