This idea coincides perfectly to a time, a few months ago, that I felt like I was everything after many months of meditation and "being in the now". I felt that my consciousness was part of all the empty space, flowing inside and outside of me. As if all this emptiness was a sea of consciousness, more like being in an ocean, and we are all "fish" so to speak.

You can only come to these types of conclusions he coming to, if you believe, or take at all seriously, descartes mind-body dualism. His conclusions are based on the premise that there is this split between the physical and mental, but the mental is generated by the physical brain, so for me descartes go this badly wrong as does anyone that believes this.
