How To Clean A 2 Stroke Pipe

This is how to clean a 2 stroke pipe with autosol metal polish & some elbow grease !

This is how I usually polish my 2 stroke pipe up to get it gleaming again, you will be surprised how good you can get your pipe to look after a good polish.

4:25 I take a 16 penny nail and bend the pointy side about 3/4 of the way down into a U shape. Then I grab the nail head with vise grips so I have a hook tool to pull the spring and let it go. Worst case I wrap wire around the spring and lock it in vise grips and pull the spring on the pipe, then wrestle the wire back out once its hooked on.

Do not use steel wool on a chrome plated pipe such as fmf or pro circuit you’ll scratch the crap out of it use a buffing wheel and some polish it will take the rust off and make it look like new

u will probly think I'm stupid I have been riding for a long time and am good with fixing my bike but when u take the header exhaust pipe off do u have to drain the oil

motorized buffing wheel is relatively inexpensive and would make very short work of cleaning and polishing a expansion chamber, where are talking minutes to hours and much better

Thats alot of work to get a pipe looking shiny, You should just use some scotch brite wheels you can get them online and use a drill or If you have a bench grinder use that

use a small set of vice grips instead of spring pullers, its much easier!

Mine is usually too hot to polish. Blue threadlock? Why dont you just throw the bolt on the ground now. jk good vid.
