If someone writes a story or a book about a kindly Scottish werewolf fisherman who feeds the those in need, they should call it "Fluffy and a Fifie" or "Fluffy in a Fifie."

"Fluffy" referring to the wolf, and "fifie" being a traditional Scottish fishing sailboat.

I remember hearing a sort of horror/tragedy short-story about reverse werewolve(s) in my high school years actually. This story is told from the perspective of a female wolf. She talked all about how her mate was such a good, kind, and strong soul. However, at some point he began to change, up to the point at least one of his kids feared him (it’s implied the pup saw his dad transform one way or the other). This finally led up to the point where he began to transform while in the home, and while he managed to get out, just outside of the den the transformation was completed. I can remember the narrator describing him as some strange monster that she’s never seen anything like, before he because agressive in his other state. He had grabbed a fallen limb and was trying to attack the den when others were finally awoken. He ran in his human form, and the wolves all chased him and put him down. In the end, she returned home, crying with her sister as she mourned her beloved and lost mate. Don’t remember what the story was called, but that’s the gist of it.

I like the fact that since the wolf just turned "human" it has no concept of human values so it just leaves things that wolves value as gifts

I love the way Aussie's pronounce wolf because the l is always super soft so it sounds like "woof". I listen to an aussie podcast about horror films and anytime they cover a werewolf film it's immediately less scary because werewoofs doesn't sound as intimidating

Calling it right now, it was just a guy who made a wolf head into a mask because he either was humble and didn't want recognition for his generosity, or didn't want people knowing he was generous and coming around his place asking for stuff.
