I’m 54, started shooting at 33..
I got hep c from my second wife who was the one who turned me on to begin with. I just finished week 5 of Mavryet and the virus is undetectable. I got clean in 2018 & paralyzed by an infection from back surgery in 2020. I started moving my big toe and today I’m able to walk during physical therapy with a walker.
If you’re struggling with addiction- you are worth the effort to get help. If I can walk after being paralyzed and stay clean- you can too. ❤

I’m glad my dad never gave me anything like that. At 12 he was buying me cigs and alcohol. At 16 we did coke together. By 26, I was doing meth and heroin with my own dad. Smfh.

Thankfully, I’ll be clean 10 years this November 1st. My dad took that guilt to his grave. I would never do drugs with my own kids.

This young man deserves so much better then the father he was handed in life. Sometimes, life just isn't fair. Get up dust yourself off and try to move on. Break the generational curse and cycle. That's my wish for this young man.

My mom got me high for the first time when I was 10. By 13 we were doing x and drinking. I went a long time not doing anything else but Maryjane. I fell off with my mom around 20. I had a special needs child and got clean. 3 years later, my mom was trying to get clean. She had a heart attack going through withdrawals. 5 months later I lost my son. I’m proud to still be clean.

My ex lost his son to IV drug use. He contracted Aids. He had 2 little girls that were sent to foster care and were adopted back in 1989. Their mother was also a user. We never saw them again after the funeral. About a week ago, his grandson contacted him, and one of the girls had reached out to him! He found both of his granddaughters! They're so beautiful! God is so good! ❤

Something horrible is an addict to introduce another person to a drug. It happened to me. Fortunately it was less then 2 years and I escaped with the Grace of God. Never had I done drugs prior and jumped into crack. Never relapsed and I pray God brings deliverance to those who need it and desire it.

My buddy started smoking crack with his dad at 13. It's absolutely disgusting that his father did that with him. He passed away in July at 27 years old from a drug-related infection. It's unreal.

I lost my son from fentanyl. It's so sad for this generation. My son got hooked on opiates when he broke his arm at 16. This handsome young man remi da me of him with his sweet demeanor, and ability to handle a family that was hard to survive. I feel so deeply for him. YOU CAN DO IT BUDDY. KEEP FIGHTING.

It's NEVER too late..I started my opiate addiction when i was 21, starting Heroin at 26, started shooting Heroin at 27, shot Heroin and cocaine for 21 years and have been clean for going on 13 years ( on methadone). I pray for this young man. ❤

Well, he looks younger than 32. What what one hell of a father turns his kid onto this and then gives him Pepsi on top of it. I don’t get it. I think this world is made up of a bunch of psychopath.

I lost my dad to his addiction in 2011. He was on his way to rehab and we had hope. Unfortunately the very next day my sister told me he had died from an overdose. I got clean shortly after and I have 11 years clean and a beautiful family. The amount of people we lose to addiction is heartbreaking. So thankful for my recovery.

Both my parents were drug addicts. My dad got clean but died of cancer at 36 yrs old. My mom didn’t. She’s still around but I could count on one hand the times I’ve seen her since I was a kid. Drugs take everything away from you. Including your sanity. God bless

I was a needle junkie and had hep-c. I went to rehab in 2014 and found out by the Dr giving me a pamphlet that said "Hep-C" . I stayed clean and in 2015 I took a pill a day for 6 weeks and I'm still hep-c free today. In 2016 Jesus removed my night terrors and addiction and I been clean since and haven't had so much as a craving!!! God is always good ❤

My brother and 2 very best friends lost their lives to addiction and it’s a pain I will never lose. Somehow by the grace of God I got out just in time and now have 9 years clean. Don’t lose hope!

I started doing drugs since my teenage, got addicted to Fentanyl. Spent my whole life fighting Fentanyl addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with OCD. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 3 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
