You probably don't need to prep your cloth diapers as much as you think

The OBSESSION with prepping bamboo 6-8-10 times needs to come to an end. I have yet to find a bamboo product that needs more than 1-2 washes to perform, OR a bamboo product that significantly performs better after 8 washes compared to 3 washes.
Bamboo is a synthetic after processing into a rayon. Bamboo IS NOT STEEPED IN OILS. Bamboo can be washed once/twice and used.
If your skeptical, I encourage you to test your own bamboo products after one wash.
Why is this important to me? Because cloth diapering shouldn't be overwhelming. Because the over prepping of cloth diaper inserts and diapers is a waste of resources. Because things should be simple and there is very little evidence that Bamboo needs significant washing to absorb. This just seems to be some urban myth engrained int he cloth diaper community.
