Both concept vehicles look very jnteresting.

The LandCruiser SE looks like Toyota is planning on expanding LandCruiser to be a sub-brand similar to the Crown. Perhaps a city EV version (SE), the basic off-road version (250), the upmarket off-road version (300), and hopefully the mini version.

The pickup truck looks fantastic.

Maybe both of these can be delivered on the new EV platform from 2026.

I'd love to see the mini LandCruiser revealed at the Tokyo Mobility Show. Hopefully the reason it hasn't been revealed prior to the show is because it's a finished product rather than a concept.

@ 1:38 the "idle up" button is commonly found in diesel engine Toyota's. It increases the revs at idle when the engine is cold to help it warm up quicker.

I actually still surprise why more automakers don't offer a throttle paddle or joystick as options. Someone that already drove in some Tractors with those joystick, know how convenient they are, specially at lower speeds. And with Toyota case, they will be used with the steer by wire.

11:00 the long hood you speak of is not the problem its the short dash to axle coupled with the long hood that makes it weird. They should have stretched the dash to axle pushing the wheels out creating a shorter overhang which is always a good thing. Not sure why they did not do this.

Rivian simultaneously uses both unibody (monocoque) and body on frame. That's why they feel so solid and there's virtually no noise.

The wheelbase of the land cruiser se is 4 inches more than a grand highlander. could be a really good family hauler.
